The Royal Motor Yacht Club is steeped in over 100 years of history and tradition. Situated within Poole Harbour the Club was originally founded to encourage the sport of motor boating, however, today this Royal Yacht Club embraces both sailing and motor boating interests and has over 1600 members. Parkstone Yacht Club was established in 1895 and is situated on the North shore of Poole harbour. The Club has an active membership of 2500 members, comprising equal numbers of dinghy and cruiser owners. Both sailing and racing are actively encouraged for the amateur sailor young and old alike. Poole Yacht Club has been in existence for over 150 years. It has a broad spectrum of members all with common interest in sailing and boating embracing all of its diverse forms. Formed in 1956, the Lilliput Sailing Club is a small, friendly, self help club adjacent to The Blue Lagoon on the northern shores of Poole Harbour. Formed in 1965, North Haven Yacht Club is situated close to the entrance to Poole Harbour. With a membership of around 280 people the club caters for many different types and classes of boat and for members of all ages and experience. Visit the Website
East Dorset Sailing Club
East Dorset Sailing Club was established in 1875 and is the oldest sailing club in the harbour not to have moved or changed its name. The club has around 180 members and is ideally situated for easy access to the harbour entrance and out into Poole Bay Visit the Website

Founded in 1933, Redclyffe Yacht Club is situated on the west bank of the River Frome at Redcliffe, just half a mile down stream from the old historic port and walled Saxon town of Wareham.
